Don't be afraid of this New Yorker, even if he starts whining about not having seen you in a while once you enter his establishment. He knows his way around the kitchen, been working his way around Asia, Caribbean and USA at fine dining places. He also knows to make great coctails - and he certainly isn't cheap when adding the liquor. These things has been his life for as long as he can remember.

Now order something expensive, you cheap Norwegian!
The food is what he calls New Orleans cooking. Or Cajun, French Creole, Soul Food. Many names. On his menu you'll find Gumbo, Jambalaya, Dry-aged steak, BBQ ribs, Muffaletta Sandwich, and lots more. Every now and then he mix it up with some authentic Tex-Mex food. Get on his SMS list and know when(09162935929).
He claims to have the best stocked bar in Cebu, especially his bourbon collection. Price of a SML(always ice cold) is 60 peso, and his mojitos are to die for, although a little more expensive than other places. This place has a marvellous atmosphere and a lot of regular guests. It's a great bargain for this kind of food, 200-400 for most dishes.
Smoking is allowed downstairs or outside, while upstairs is no-smoking.

We came right after opening on a weekday, don't be fooled it's empty
Check out the cool posters on the wall. Thom found out that it was cheaper to pay a local painter to recreate them, rather than ordering them from the states. They are hand painted.
The place has wi-fi.

Location inside Crossroads, a good row of bars and restaurants. Easy to park.
The music is also something else from what you'll hear in Cebu. From the 30's to 80's - However, don't expect to hear any Wham or Madonna in this place. Sound level is not disturbing, so it's easy to chat inside.
I'm not the only one enjoying this place. Check out Tripadvisor to confirm this.
Enjoy and say hi from Lars and Ycebu! Maybe he gives me a free beer next time I come along!
